Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Sales Manager to lead our Cincinnati sales team. This position blends hands-on leadership with in-the-field sales responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing a sales team and a strong background in the roofing, HVAC, or other home service industries. You’ll meet with homeowners and businesses, perform inspections that may involve working on ladders or entering attic spaces, and create custom service proposals.
This is a key leadership position within our company, offering both autonomy and the opportunity to grow with an expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate an existing sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to review performance, share updates, and set objectives.
- Perform on-site inspections and develop detailed service proposals for customers.
- Work directly with homeowners and business owners to provide solutions and close deals.
- Offer daily support and guidance to sales representatives throughout the workday.
- Monitor sales metrics and ensure accountability across the team.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to customer's satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales management experience in the roofing, HVAC, or similar home service industries.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Comfortable working on ladders and accessing attic spaces during inspections.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Organized, disciplined, and goal-oriented.
